Kasen's 3rd BIRTHday.

The BIG SURPRISE - his first movie in a theater!

The movie! TOY STORY 3! (He did okay. He got a little antsy & had to move around some, & he had a couple of moments of loudness, but for a kid that doesn't like to stop moving or talking, he did great.)

He LOVED the popcorn.

After the movie, he created his own movie scenes.

Next up... California Pizza Kitchen!

Kasen was more interested in the chocolate milk than the pizza.

Then we hit the Lego store for his birthday toy.

After all that, he passed out as soon as we got in the car to head home.

When we got home, we got a surprise visit from cousins Lisa & Marissa, with a special gift.

Night-night our little 3 year old boy.

Kasen is a strong-willed, stubborn, mechanically inclined, smart little boy. He loves guns, blocks, Transformers, playing pretend, and doing anything in the water (well, except taking a shower). He talks NON-stop from the moment he opens his eyes, until the moment his brain shuts off & puts him to sleep. Speaking of sleep, he doesn't do a lot of it. He fights going to sleep & he has trouble sleeping through the night. He just doesn't seem to "need" sleep like the rest of us do. Kasen loves school, playing with his friends, learning new things, singing, and making people laugh (he likes to ask "how can I make them ((whomever is around)) laugh?". He is a ham, and he is LOTS of fun. He doesn't listen really well, and has almost no impulse control - but he's just 3. We couldn't imagine life without him, he really makes our days entertaining!
